If there are no scratches, or significant damage to your floor, and if it has been oiled before. Then we will be able to clean the floor, and re-apply oil to bring it back to life again. But this will require pre-inspection and testing. So please contact Fresh Fibers Oldham to arrange a visit.
2. Wood Flooring Sanding & Oiling.
This method involves sanding your wood floor. To prepare it for the application of hard wax oil (2 to 3 coats). But happily Fresh Fiber’s floor sanding system is 99% dust free. As we use an advanced professional sanding and extraction systems. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about your home, or business being covered in sawdust.
Protection.
Next we proceed with the application of the protection to your quality wood floor. No traffic can be allowed on the floor for at least 4-5 hours, to allow the protection to cure. Also, we will ask you to remove all the furniture from the rooms to be restored, before the work starts. But furniture is allowed to be placed back in about 24 hours, after the last coat of hard wax oil application.

This will involve sanding your wood floor to prepare it for the application of the lacquer/seal. Plus the sanding system we use is 99% dust free, as we use an advanced professional sanding and extraction system.

We will then proceed with the application of the lacquer/seal to the wood floor. No traffic can be allowed on the floor for at least 3 hours to allow the protection to cure. We would also ask that all furniture is removed from the rooms to be restored before we commence the floor sanding.
